Wim Hof also known at 'The Ice-Man' has 21 Guinness World Records that includes; swimming underneath ice for 70 metres, running a half marathon in the artic wearing only shorts and running a full marathon in the desert without fluids.
Who does this?
Practically speaking it's all about gaining control of the body and mind. As such, the techniques are currently being applied by celebrities such as Jim Carey, Harrison Ford and Tom Cruise. Additionally professional athletes have been utilising his methods.

We inhale and exhale approximately 20,000 times a day, Additionally the techniques have been scientifically validated at Radbounwd University in Holland. In an experiment conducted at the university scientists injected Wim and 112 trial participants with components of E-coli. This convinces the body that it is being attacked, resulting in flu like symptoms. Wim was able to half the number of inflammatory proteins compared to the other 112 participants. The study was repeated with Wim training people to use his techniques. The results were identical. This concluded that the autonomic nervous system can be consciously controlled, which was previously deemed impossible!
